Rena Mikailova
I work in the Russian Institute of Radiology and Agroecology in the city of Obninsk. My research interests are in the areas of radioecological assessment and radiation safety of the environment and ecosystems. The main aim of my studies lies in dose and risk assessment for different species. Since radiation has a profound effect on non-human biota, my current investigations are targeted on the estimation of damage, which can be caused by exposure of plants and animals to ionising radiation.
