Dear Colleagues and Friends,

We would like to invite you to participate in the International Conference on Radiation Applications (RAP 2019), to be held in Belgrade, Serbia, from 16-19 September 2019.

The conference addresses a wide range of topics related to research and applications of ionising and non-ionising radiation and the corresponding areas. It gathers in a professional and friendly forum the specialists from the fields of physics, biology, chemistry, medical sciences, engineering, environmental protection, and other disciplines in which radiation is used.

RAP originates from the RAD conference. Founded in 2012 under RADDOS, an EU FP7 project co-ordinated by RAP 2019 Chairman, Aleksandar Jaksic, RAD has established itself as a leading conference in the field through six successful editions. From this year, RAD will be split into two events, and RAP is one of the two successors. Organised by the same enthusiastic team, RAP will promote and further enhance the RAD conference’s key values – professionalism, quality, and hospitality.

RAP 2019 will feature invited, topical keynote, oral, poster, and virtual presentations. After the most popular and innovative sessions, panel discussions will be organised.

Conference publications include the Book of Abstracts, where all accepted conference abstracts will be published, and Conference Proceedings, containing peer-reviewed full papers of the participants interested in this option.

Deadline for the submission of abstracts is 17 May 2019. The abstracts, no longer than one page (3000 characters), should concisely summarise the work and main results without using figures or tables. Submission is electronic, so please follow the link on the left for instructions and submit your abstract(s). Deadline for submission of full papers (maximum 6 pages) is 23 August 2019. Submission of a full paper is not a condition for presenting at the conference.

We felt it would be appropriate to hold RAP 2019 in Serbia, the country of its origin seven years ago, and have chosen Serbia’s vibrant capital of Belgrade as the host city. This will give us an opportunity to provide a pleasant atmosphere throughout the conference, and our local knowledge will help you in exploring exciting Belgrade sites, both through conference social events and on your own.

The conference venue is a modern 88 Rooms Hotel, conveniently located within walking distance of the most interesting Belgrade sights. We have reserved a block of rooms in the hotel for conference participants by favourable prices; places are limited and early booking is strongly encouraged.
